Foal
When choosing a foal, see many babies available, but not their photos.
The pony is well balanced and strong; it used to live in rocky and coarse mountainous land of western Ireland. Easy keepers, they do not require a rich diet to stay healthy and fit. The usual colors of the breed are: gray and dun, but there are blacks, bays, browns, chestnuts, palominos, and an occasional roan.

Foal -
babies, photos
The pony is about 7 to 9 inches below the knee and the body of the animal is deep and compact, well balanced with depth, substance and good heart room. On the strong, sturdy body of the pony sets a handsome pony head, with a well-defined jaw and good width between large kindly eyes. When choosing a foal, see many babies available, but not their photos.
